If the household passes the financial eligibility determination, the Diversion benefit calculation is computed as follows:

  1. The amount of the benefit will be the total amount of the Diversion Types created on the Supportive Services/Special Items of Need Window.
  2. Recoupment amounts (either a percentage of the Standard of Need or a fixed dollar amount) are subtracted from the Diversion Benefit to arrive at the Net Diversion Benefit.

EXAMPLE:

Household consists of a caretaker and one dependent child.  Household is eligible for the $430 Emergency Needs and $125.00 Transportation.
